Tom
Coffey, Managing Partner
Tom Coffey is one of our Managing Partners specializing
in senior-level executive recruitment, matching highly talented
financial, sales and marketing executives with companies
requiring their specialized areas of expertise. He
brings his clients a seasoned commitment to identifying
the best and brightest candidates for their chosen field.
Tom has placed top executives at some of the world's largest
and most respected companies.
His
thorough approach to screening candidates typifies Corporate
Recruiting Partners dedication to individualized service.
It requires strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment
to determine whether a client's corporate culture is compatible
with a candidates' background and career objectives.
An
alumnus of Christopher Newport University (big Captain’s
Football fan) with a major in Governmental Administration,
a concentration in legal studies and a minor in History.
Tom resides in Williamsburg, Virginia. Prior
to starting Corporate Recruiting Partners, Tom was an executive
recruiter, regional director and Area VP at a nationally
recognized recruiting firm. Tom was responsible for
several years of record revenue growth as well as receiving
several awards for Recruiter of the Year. He also
set several new company billing records and won several
award trips to the Caribbean.
Tom
is married to Laura (also a CNU Alumna) with two children,
Taylor and Evan. Tom volunteers with PUSH America, a not-for-profit
that devotes its efforts to designing and building therapeutic
play units for children with severe disabilities. He
has chaired The Annual PUSH America charity golf tournament
in the Hampton Roads area since 1998. Tom is also a volunteer
case worker at St. Bede’s Catholic Church, where he
counsels parishioners on financial and employment related
issues. Tom enjoys playing golf and is a member of the Two
Rivers Country Club in Williamsburg.

Mark
Bernecker - Managing Partner
Mark W. Bernecker is one of our Managing Partners. He specializes
in the recruitment of senior-level professionals across
several disciplines: Accounting, Finance, Information Technology,
Engineering, and Sales & Marketing. Over the last six
years Mark has managed teams of professionals that have
delivered time and time again. He has made strategic placements
for multiple Fortune 500 Companies. He has also provided
successful searches for dozens of small to large corporations.
After you
sign on with Mark you will learn what most of his clients
have over the years. He has the ability to deliver superior
results, without the heavy sales pitch. Mark brings many
value added services to the table including: ability to
understand what you are looking for, how to sell your organization,
the aptitude to evaluate your internal staffing needs, and
he can be the voice of reason during the offer stage of
the process.
Mark brings
to the organization 10 years of recruiting experience. The
first 4 years were spent in the recruitment process of finding
manager trainees for Penske Truck Rental, a GE company.
Previous to Corporate Recruiting Partners, he recruited
for world-renowned recruitment firms Spherion and Robert
Half International. Throughout his career, Mark has consistently
delivered results at all professional levels. Ultimately
holding several key leadership roles within each organization.
An alumnus
of Christopher Newport University with a BS in History and
a Minor in Business Administration, he also is a Veteran
of the United States Navy. You will find Mark enjoys spending
time with his family residing in Williamsburg, VA. He is
also a huge History buff, enjoys golfing, skiing and family
trips to the beach. Mark also enjoys road trips back to
Allentown, PA to spend time with family and friends.
Always one
to serve, he spends time with several civic and professional
organizations. He is on the Board of Directors of CNU’s
Alumni Society. Mark has served as President, VP of Alumni
and Student affairs, and currently is Chairman of the Social
Committee. He is a member of the Institute of Management
Accountants, and a Virginia Delegate for the National Republican
Congressional Committee. In addition, assists the Cub Scouts
of America.

Shane Thomas - Search Consultant 
Shane Thomas is an Executive Search Consultant specializing in the recruitment of executive professionals within numerous environments and capacities. Shane’s background includes diverse experience and a very successful career at the corporate level of a large Fortune 500 Distribution Company. He credits his upbeat, “out of the box” creative approach to the business world as a catalyst for quickly climbing the executive ladder as a respected leader. As a previous manager, he brings a unique perspective to our team by knowing how to acquire talent that can thrive in the fast paced corporate setting, and enjoys inspiring others to reach their fullest professional potential. His analytical background allows him to assess needs quickly and produce positive results in a timely manner, thus saving our clients time, money and unwanted frustration. When working with Shane, our clients can be confident that they will have his undivided, one on one attention until the task is completed.
Shane is an alumnus of Christopher Newport University with a BSGA in Criminal
Justice and Government Administration and still resides in Newport News. He is
considered the true weekend warrior and loves spending time at the beach with
his wife, Connie (also a CNU Alumna), and his two children, Hailey and Reece.
He also enjoys surfing on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, skateboarding jaunts
with his friends and is actively involved in working with local governments to
bring skateboard parks to Hampton Roads via his non-profit organization, The
GoodSkate Society. Shane is also an accomplished studio artist and published
freelance writer for skateboard magazines in his free time. As well, Shane is
a 1/3 owner of a patent pending ladder stabilization device and Managing Director
of LadLock, LLC. He enjoys “burning the midnight oil” with his father
and brother as they continue to cultivate their family business.

Amy Storck - Corporate Staffing Coordinator
Amy Storck is the newest addition to our team and comes to Corporate Recruiting Partners as our Corporate Staffing Coordinator. Amy comes to CRP with a successful background in business and marketing within the healthcare sector. She’s been able to quickly apply her sound marketing and sales background to spearhead and continue to develop our corporate staffing services. Amy brings a solid understanding in identifying the needs of her clients and will work to ensure that the objectives are met with attention to quality throughout the staffing process.
Amy is an alumni of Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia. She and her husband Greg, along with their English Bulldog, Maggie, reside in the Williamsburg area. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening and reading. Being new to area, Amy is in the process of becoming a member of the Junior Woman’s League of Williamsburg and is very excited about being able to volunteer her time in the Williamsburg community with this civic organization.
