Tom Coffey - President, Recruiting Services

Tom Coffey is the President of Recruiting Services specializing in senior-level executive recruitment, matching highly talented financial, sales and marketing executives with companies requiring their specialized areas of expertise. He brings his clients a seasoned commitment to identifying the best and brightest candidates for their chosen field. Tom has placed top executives at some of the world's largest and most respected companies.

His thorough approach to screening candidates typifies Corporate Recruiting Partners dedication to individualized service. It requires strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment to determine whether a client's corporate culture is compatible with a candidates' background and career objectives.

An alumnus of Christopher Newport University (big Captain’s Football fan) with a major in Governmental Administration, a concentration in legal studies and a minor in History. Tom resides in Williamsburg, Virginia. Prior to starting Corporate Recruiting Partners, Tom was an executive recruiter, regional director and Area VP at a nationally recognized recruiting firm. Tom was responsible for several years of record revenue growth as well as receiving numerous awards for Recruiter of the Year. He also set a number of new company billing records and won several award trips to the Caribbean.

Tom is married to Laura (also a CNU Alumna) with two children, Taylor and Evan. Tom volunteers with PUSH America, a not-for-profit that devotes its efforts to designing and building therapeutic play units for children with severe disabilities. He has chaired The Annual PUSH America charity golf tournament in the Hampton Roads area since 1998. Tom is also a volunteer case worker at St. Bede’s Catholic Church, where he counsels parishioners on financial and employment related issues. Tom enjoys playing golf and is a member of the Two Rivers Country Club in Williamsburg.

Mark Bernecker - President, Business Development

Mark W. Bernecker is the President of Business Development. He specializes in the recruitment of senior-level professionals across several disciplines: Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, and Sales & Marketing. Over the last six years Mark has managed teams of professionals that have delivered time and time again. He has made strategic placements for multiple Fortune 500 Companies. He has also provided successful searches for dozens of small to large corporations.

After you sign on with Mark you will learn what most of his clients have over the years. He has the ability to deliver superior results, without the heavy sales pitch. Mark brings many value added services to the table including: ability to understand what you are looking for, how to sell your organization, the aptitude to evaluate your internal staffing needs, and he can be the voice of reason during the offer stage of the process.

Mark brings to the organization 10 years of recruiting experience. The first 4 years were spent in the recruitment process of finding manager trainees for Penske Truck Rental, a GE company. Previous to Corporate Recruiting Partners, he recruited for world-renowned recruitment firms Spherion and Robert Half International. Throughout his career, Mark has consistently delivered results at all professional levels. Ultimately holding several key leadership roles within each organization.

An alumnus of Christopher Newport University with a BS in History and a Minor in Business Administration, he also is a Veteran of the United States Navy. You will find Mark enjoys spending time with his family residing in Williamsburg, VA. He is also a huge History buff, enjoys golfing, skiing and family trips to the beach. Mark also enjoys road trips back to Allentown, PA to spend time with family and friends.

Always one to serve, he spends time with several civic and professional organizations. He is on the Board of Directors of CNU’s Alumni Society. Mark has served as President, VP of Alumni and Student affairs, and currently is Chairman of the Social Committee. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, and a Virginia Delegate for the National Republican Congressional Committee. In addition, assists the Cub Scouts of America.

Katherine Franklin - Area Manager

Katherine joins Corporate Recruiting Partners as the area manager for the Washington, D.C. Metro area. She has over eight years of combined professional experience in sales, staffing, recruiting and direct placement. Katherine started her career in the Hampton Roads area where she gained experience recruiting in the administrative, human resources, and accounting fields. When she relocated to Washington, D.C. she expanded on her staffing expertise to include IT and Technical fields. Katherine has experience managing, recruiting, and placing qualified candidates into many organizations and corporations, from the private sector to government contractors and state & local agencies. Her goal is to provide every client with exceptional service and to focus on understanding the exact needs of her clients and candidates so that she can make a successful match every time. Katherine is excited to continue building relationships with candidates and clients in the DC metro area. With her diverse background in the recruiting industry she is looking forward to helping her clients fulfill all their staffing needs.

Rob Collins - Recruiting Manager

Robert joins Corporate Recruiting Partners with more then fourteen years of sales and management experience. With an extensive background in customer service, Rob’s experience gives him unique perspective to effectively meet the needs of clients and candidates. Robert strives to ensure the success of each organization he works with through providing quality candidates, solid experience and industry knowledge. With his proven success, he understands what it takes for clients to overcome obstacles and achieve results, while saving valuable time and effort throughout the recruiting process. Robert specializes in the engineering, manufacturing, accounting and finance industries.
